A Journey Towards Data Analysis

Today, data analysis permeates every aspect of our lives, often imperceptibly. We use essential tools to bring this visualisation to light, making the data understandable to everyone. Even if some argue:

People: "Oh, but I don't use data in my day-to-day life!"

Data: "Are you sure? Absolutely sure? Hmm, think again. How many places do you research before buying a product? How do you know you're paying the lowest price?"

People: "Several places, I always do my research so I don't pay too much."

Data: "Exactly! That's market analysis. You're comparing prices, looking for promotions like free shipping. In data analysis, we look at similar patterns. For example, a customer who usually buys the XPTO product suddenly starts buying the AB product. Something has changed in that customer's behaviour, and it's up to the analyst to identify and understand that change."

One book that helped me explore the world of data more deeply was "What's Your Problem?", written by Thomas Wedell-Wedellsborg. In this book, the author discusses different ways of solving problems, often questioning established norms and looking for creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
